The head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces noted that the invaders discovered weaknesses in the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A series of “negative moments” have developed in the Avdeevsky direction. This was stated by the Chairman of the Council of Ground Forces Reservists, Ivan Timochko, during a telethon, answering questions about the situation around Ocheretino and Berdichev.

“Unfortunately, a number of, let’s say, negative aspects arose there, which led to … the tactical level of the situation. Yes, it is quite serious. And every effort is being made to ensure that it does not develop into a serious threat,” Timochko emphasized.

According to him, this direction is quite important for the enemy in that he will try to break through from Ocheretino towards Pokrovsk.

Tymochko emphasized that it is important that the enemy was not allowed to develop this bridgehead, to turn it “into a breakthrough, into a threat.”

Timochko also noted that the Russian invaders were able to find “weaknesses” in the defense of the Ukrainian troops with a “chronic shortage of ammunition.”

“The question will be what kind of losses they are still willing to suffer there in order to hold even that occupied bridgehead that they tried to expand or increase. Of course, the fighting there will now be very fierce… The Commander-in-Chief said that additional reserves were sent there: how military units, and additional reserves and means of destruction,” noted the Chairman of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
